We were incredibly lucky to have Kirsty and her team caring for my late mother at home. From day one, Kirsty brought not only outstanding professionalism and medical knowledge, but also genuine compassion, dedication, and reassurance during a very difficult time for our family.

I had an excellent experience with Kirsty and The Brit Nurse team during our physiotherapy session with Monzer. From start to finish, Monzer was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. He took the time to explain everything clearly and provided thoughtful, personalised care throughout the session.

 Before You Book

Questions, Answers

We answer the most common questions about home nursing in Dubai. Not finding what you need?

What's included in the free nurse assessment?

A 45–60 minute home visit by a DHA-licensed nurse. We review your medical history, assess current needs, recommend a care plan, and discuss pricing — with no obligation to proceed.

What's the difference between a nurse and a caregiver?

A registered nurse is a DHA-licensed clinical professional trained to administer IV infusions, manage wounds, handle tracheostomies, and oversee complex medical protocols. A caregiver assists with daily living — bathing, feeding, companionship — also can perform clinical procedures.

Can you provide nursing care after hospital discharge?

Yes — this is one of our most common requests. We coordinate directly with hospital discharge teams to ensure a seamless transition from ward to home, continuing prescribed treatments and monitoring.

Do you provide nursing care for children?

Yes. Our paediatric ICU-trained nurses provide safe, compassionate care for children with chronic conditions, complex medical needs, or post-surgical recovery requirements.

Is home nursing covered by insurance in Dubai?

Some insurance plans cover home healthcare. We provide full clinical documentation and itemised invoices to support your insurance claims — we recommend checking your policy and we can assist with the paperwork.

Can you manage ventilators or feeding tubes at home?

Yes. Our ICU-trained specialist nurses are experienced in ventilator management, tracheostomy care, PEG tube feeding, PICC line, and Porta-Cath infusions at home.

How quickly can a nurse visit?

For urgent situations, we aim for same-day or within-hours response where possible. WhatsApp us at +971 52 312 0655 and a nurse will assess your situation immediately.

Do you provide medical equipment and home setup before hospital discharge?

Yes — we go beyond nursing visits to prepare your home as a fully equipped care environment before you arrive from hospital. Our team can arrange and set up medical equipment including hospital-grade beds, pressure-relieving mattresses, hoists and transfer aids, oxygen concentrators, suction machines, drip stands, and monitoring devices, so everything is in place the moment you walk through the door. We coordinate directly with your hospital discharge team to understand exactly what equipment your condition requires, source it, install it, and brief your family on safe usage. For patients with complex needs, we effectively create a clinical home environment — a mini hospital tailored to your recovery — removing the anxiety of coming home unprepared and reducing the risk of readmission.
